About PackSure
PackSure is a Shopify app that lets merchants configure optional protection and packaging choices and review related order details. This policy applies to the app and the public PackSure website.
This policy explains the Shopify store and order information PackSure uses to provide the app, how long it is kept, and how to contact us.
PackSure is a Shopify app that lets merchants configure optional protection and packaging choices and review related order details. This policy applies to the app and the public PackSure website.
When a merchant installs PackSure, we receive the Shopify store domain, store identifier, currency, granted app permissions, and access tokens needed to provide the app. Tokens are encrypted in the application database. We store the merchant-created protection options, packaging options, eligibility rules, and subscription status.
To show PackSure-related orders, we process Shopify order identifiers and numbers, currency, financial and fulfillment status, timestamps, and line item titles, quantities, and amounts for configured PackSure products. The app currently does not save customer names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses from order webhooks.
We use store and configuration information to authenticate the merchant, evaluate storefront eligibility, display configured offers, synchronize PackSure order items, provide the merchant dashboard, troubleshoot delivery failures, and meet Shopify privacy and security requirements. We do not sell Shopify store or order information.
PackSure sends requests to Shopify to provide app features. The app is hosted by the service provider selected by PackSure. Those providers process information only as needed to operate the service and are subject to their own security and privacy terms.
Webhook logs store delivery metadata such as the store domain, topic, webhook identifier, response status, timing, and payload size. They do not store the webhook body. Access tokens are encrypted at rest by the application. Connections to Shopify and the PackSure service use HTTPS in production.
When an app is uninstalled, PackSure marks the store inactive and clears its access token. Store configuration and related records are retained to support a possible reinstall until Shopify sends its shop redaction request or the merchant contacts us to request deletion. On shop redaction, PackSure deletes the store record, options, rules, subscriptions, order records, and associated logs.
Shopify privacy webhooks are received and validated. PackSure currently stores no customer contact fields from order webhooks; customer redaction requests remove any matching order records supplied by Shopify. Merchants can ask questions or request help with deletion by emailing support@packsure.shop.
The public website uses essential browser functionality and does not submit its contact form to a PackSure server. The form opens the visitor email application addressed to support@packsure.shop, so the visitor chooses whether to send the message. Shopify may set cookies needed for embedded app functionality.
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date above shows the latest revision. For privacy questions, contact support@packsure.shop.
